This cozy cottage features a living room with vaulted ceiling, fireplace, and glass doors that open to a screened porch overlooking beautiful Lake Shawnee. There is a bathroom with tub/shower, a small bedroom with a full-sized bed, and a bedroom with bunk beds and cot. Downstairs is a fully-equipped kitchen and dining room. Glass doors open to a brick patio with lake view. NEW FOR 2010 HotSpring 'Jetsetter' Hot Tub! There is a Weber gas grill, and assortment of lawn chairs and recreational equipment. Stairs lead to a dock with a rowboat, paddleboat, and kayak. Lake Shawnee is a private lake with good fishing. No gas motors. Swimming is permitted off the dock, but guests may prefer the lake’s two sand beaches - tags provided. Winter brings ice-fishing and skating. Downhill skiing 40 minutes away. Nearby enjoy hiking, cross-country skiing, movies, and outlet shopping. No smoking. The house has a washer and dryer and is stocked with bath and beach towels, bedding and basic needs
