'An Tigin' means Tiny Cottage in Gaelic, but this one has a big heart within its cozy, cheerful interior. Curl up by the woodstove to watch the tide change, bring back lobster & enjoy the view from the deck. Enjoy the feeling of island living all with comfy beds, comfy furniture & new appliances. Sit on the rocks or the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee for a peaceful start to the day or a glass of wine to relax the evening away. Listen to the foghorns, the gulls crying or the lobster boats going by, a sound to be truly memorable. Use our kayak or bring your own & discover the inlets around Southport. Only a short drive to a few beaches for the kids, fish off the Swing Bridge. Fragrant flowers galore in my gardens and plenty of songbirds in the trees, along with peace, quiet & the ocean, what more can you ask for? Great place for walking, oh & don't forget the camera for those beautiful landscapes. Slow down, take a deep salt air breath & relax, you are at 'An Tigin'!!

Amenities Notes: A two-person (tandem) kayak available. For the 2-6 year old range, we have a small child's playhouse in the yard for your children to play in, we also have a Red Wagon to take the little one's along for a ride while you take a stroll in town or on a quiet road. Plenty of beach toys for the little ones to build sand castles, dig for crabs, toss a ball etc. Wood blocks, wood puzzles, stuffed animals & toys for the tiny kids. A croquet, badminton & volleyball set for family outdoor time. Cards & some adult games too! An Tigin has a small monitor (heating system) to take the chill off in very cold weather, though the wood stove is quite ample for summer/fall use. Small video library for the kids and adults. A bird feeder for those who like to bird watch. Few herbs in the garden to use for cooking and of course plenty of flowers. And Please, Due To Family Allergies!! Absolutely NO PETS Allowed! No Exceptions Please!!
