This cozy cottage is situated twenty feet from the shoreline of quiet Dyer Long Pond in Jefferson, ME. Newly remodeled in 2003, this quiet retreat offers a rustic pine interior with all the amenities needed to enjoy your Maine vacation. Near the lower half of the lake, the cottage is nestled in dense pine and oak trees. The lake is quiet with very little power boating and is more geared towards canoeing and kayaking. It is a nature lovers spot with good chances of siting ospreys, bald eagles, beavers, turtles, loons, and many other bird species. The cottage is 15-min from the Mid-coast of Maine. Explore Damariscotta and the Penobscot bay areas for antiquing and outdoor pursuits. Sheepscott golf course is 15 minutes. Close to area lighthouses and maritime museums, Pemaquid point is 27 miles.
