Utah Vacation Rentals – Relax In Your Own Condo after a Great Day Skiing

Utah vacation rentals offer a fantastic alternative to staying in a local lodge. These condos, townhomes, cabins and mountain homes are fully furnished with plenty of room for you and your family to spread out and relax after a full day of skiing. You can enjoy a good long soak in a Jacuzzi and then spend the rest of the evening in front of the fireplace or enjoy the local stores and eateries. The accommodations are generous and modern offering both comfort and privacy.

More people are discovering the convenience and luxury of staying in US vacation rentals instead of traditional hotels or lodges. These homes are offered as a vacation rental by owner to people traveling to the area for skiing, fishing, or other local fun. StairwaytoHaven offers luxury rentals that are usually a short drive or even within walking distance of restaurants and local entertainment.

Skiing or Snowboarding

It’s amazing how popular snowboarding has become and Utah’s major mountains have plenty of powder to offer. The snow is ultra-light making for a great ski day. Resorts like Snowbird and Alta are famous for their excellent powder that skiers favor. It is important to note that Alta still does not allow snowboarding. If you prefer snowboarding, then plan on doing it on Snowbird’s slopes.

Alta ski resort is a bit more rustic than Snowbird. The mountain views at Alta are spectacular and there are thousands of acres of ski slopes and trails available. Buses are available to shuttle you between the two ski locations and throughout the towns. However, if you really want to see the sites beyond the slopes, then consider renting a car to use while staying in one of our US vacation rentals.

Advanced and amateur skiers or snowboarders will find plenty of excitement on the slopes of Snowbird. Conversely, Alta’s slopes are pretty challenging and better suited for the more advanced skier. If you or members of the family are just learning to ski, or prefer to stay off the expert slopes, then you will be better off skiing at Snowbird. There are miles and miles of trails and downhill slopes to suit beginners to expert skiers at both resorts.

Snowbird also has a lot of local shops and restaurants you may find entertaining after a day on the slopes. If you are interested in reserving a vacation rental by owner close to Alta or Snowbird, call well in advance of the ski season as these properties are extremely popular.
